Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs that on 12 December 2016 the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the draft Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On approval of the Rules for"

Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs that on 12 December 2016 the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the draft Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On approval of the Rules for Establishing the Quota for Foreign Labor Force in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Distribution thereof among the Regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

This Governmental Decree is approving the list of the persons whose employment do not require the foreign labor authorization from local executive bodies, including those:

- employed as the first directors of the branch offices or representative offices of the foreign companies.

- who are on a business trip, for business purposes, with duration not exceeding a total of one hundred and twenty calendar days within one calendar year.

- employed as the first directors of the companies that have signed contracts of over 50 million USD in investments with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and as the first directors of the legal entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan that are engaged in investing in top priority business activities and have signed a contract with an authorized investment agency.

In addition, the Order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted on December 15, 2016 No. 1069 «On making amendments and additions to the Order of the Acting Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 27, 2016 No. 559 "On Approval of the Rules and Terms of Issuance and/or Extension of the Permits for Employers to Attract Foreign Labor Force as well as of Conducting Intra-Company Transfers.”
