Mr. Hüseyin Özhan was appointed as a Director, Head of Kazakhstan in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Previously, this position was held by Mr. Agris Preimanis. Over the years, Mr. Preimanis headed KFICA’s Governing Board and was the Co-Chair of the FIC Working Group on innovative and technological development and diversification of the economy from the foreign side.

Mr. Azamat Kuatbekov was appointed as a Director of the Branch of Baker & McKenzie - CIS, Limited in the Republic of Kazakhstan replacing Mr. Curtis Masters, the previous head. Mr. Masters, who also served as a KFICA’s Governing Board Secretary, resigned as Head of Company due to retirement.

Ms. Saule Zhakayeva was appointed as a Chairman of the Management Board Citibank Kazakhstan JSC related to the transfer of the former Chairman of Mr. Andrey Kurilin to another international position at Citibank. Mr. Kurilin was also a member of the KFICA’s Governing Board and Co-Chair of the FIC Working Group on the preparation of joint events from the foreign side.

Mr. German Burmeister was appointed as a Senior Vice President and Country Chair of Shell in Kazakhstan replacing Mr. Olivier Lazare, former Deputy Chairman of the KFICA’s Governing Board.
