KNAUF INTERNATIONAL GmbH is a holding company, with interests in the production and distribution of construction materials. It offers dry construction mixtures, gypsum plasterboard, and drywall. The company was founded in 1932 and is headquartered in Iphofen, Germany.

GEBR. KNAUF KG operates as a holding company, which engages in the production of gypsum and gypsum-related products, insulation and soundproofing materials, as well as cardboards for the manufacture of plasterboards. It also specializes in the development and production of machines for the processing of plasters for indoor and outdoor use. The company was founded on December 6, 1972, and is headquartered in Iphofen, Germany.

LLP Knauf Gips Kapchagay. Enterprise with share of the DEG was registered on February 04, 2003. In 2009, the company launched the production of dry building mixes. In 2012, a perlite production line was put into operation, and in 2014, a second workshop to produce gypsum binders was built. A new building was built, a gypsum binder mill was installed, as well as additional equipment to improve the packaging process. The company has created the first training centers in Kazakhstan to learn the right and effective ways to work with new materials: the KNAUF Training Center in Kapchagay and the KNAUF KAZGASA Training Center.
