Joint meeting of the Working group on systemic measures for the development
and support of non-resource exports was held today under the chairmanship of the Vice-Minister
of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebaev with the
participation of KFICA company-members EY, Anadolu, Arcelor Mittal, ADB, Baker
& McKenzie, Chevron, EBRD, ERG, ExxonMobil, GE, JP Morgan, Mitsubishi,
Philip Morris, Polpharma, Polymetal, Rusal, Sberbank, Inpex, KPMG, PwC.
The meeting was held following the FIC Event Preparation Working Group meeting with Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov dated on May 17th, and aimed at:
- improvement of Doing Business on international trade;
- a package of measures to stimulate investors to
invest in export-oriented projects;
- priority export-oriented industries;
- productions that can be established;
- digitalization of business processes in foreign economic activity.
