A first meeting of the Co-chairs on Digitalization Working Group of the Foreign Investors Council chaired by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of the Co-chair from Kazakh side, the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Bagdat Musin, and the Co-chair from the foreign side, Managing Partner of KPMG in Central Asia Mr. Saken Zhumashev.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Askar Zhambakin and the Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Mr. Altynbek Aitymbetov.

Parties discussed the Action Plan of the Working Group for 2021-2022 and determined further steps.

We recall, that earlier at the KFICA annual general meeting 2021 in order to promote the Digital Agenda in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the foreign investors were invited to establish a Working Group on Digitalization within the framework of the Foreign Investors’ Council.
