A joint meeting of the Labour Legislation, Human Capital Development, and Engagement of Foreign Labour Force Working Group of the Foreign Investor's Council chaired by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of working group's Сo-Chair from the foreign side, Representative of KNAUF in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of Marketing and Sales Department in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan Mr. Dimitri Propp to discuss the recognition of the professional qualifications of foreign labor.

From the Kazakh side, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by the First Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Akmadi Sarbasov.

Parties discussed the issue of foreign labor within the framework of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Professional Qualifications".
