The joint meeting of the Working Group on Digitalization of the Foreign Investors’ Council chaired by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of the Co-Chair of the Working Group from the Kazakh side, the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Mussin Bagdat and the Co-Chair of the Working Group from the foreign side, the Managing Partner of KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia Mr. Saken Zhumashev to discuss the impact of the current situation in the world on digitalization in Kazakhstan, as well as the activities of the Working Group and the preliminary results of the approved Action Plan.

At the same time, recommendations of the foreign side were made at the meeting:

The Country Head, Treasury and Trading Solutions at Citi Bank Mr. David Li voiced the recommendations regarding digital signatures based on international practice;

Senior Government Relations Expert at Kar-Tel LLP Mr. Azamat Koshimbayev voiced questions regarding Cloud services and technologies.
