A joint meeting of the Labour Legislation, Human Capital Development, and Engagement of Foreign Labour Force Working Group of the Foreign Investor's Council chaired by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of the working group's Сo-Chair from the foreign side, Representative of KNAUF in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of Marketing and Sales Department in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan Mr. Dimitri Propp to discuss issues regarding the attraction of foreign labor.

From the Kazakh side, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan, Mr. Erbolat Abulkhatin.

Parties discussed the Amendments to Rules and conditions for the issuance and renewal of permits to employers for attraction of foreign labor force, as well as the implementation of intercorporate transfer.
