September 19, a meeting was held between Zhanna Baidasheva, Director of the «Kazakhstan Foreign Investors’ Council» Association (KFICA) and Mr. Zhang Jun, Vice-President of CNPC in Central Asia and Russia, to discuss and agree on preparations for the upcoming Interim Session of the FIC chaired by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

CNPC is the largest investor in Kazakhstan's oil and gas sector, creating jobs primarily for the country's citizens.
