This meeting was organized in the framework of the Action Plan of the Working Group on Energy, Environment and Oil & Gas for 2018, at which foreign investors in the oil & gas sector were able to discuss such issues as allocation of GHG emissions distribution and trading, policy of adapting to climate change in various jurisdictions with experts from the global oil & gas industry, as well as to review further improvement of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in this field.
