On 4 February 2026, an extended meeting of the
Governing Board of the Kazakhstan Foreign Investors’ Council Association
(KFICA) was held online via Zoom with the participation of representatives of
the Association of Investors of Kazakhstan (AIK).
Participants from KFICA included: Erlan
Dosymbekov (Governing Board Chairman, Managing Partner for Kazakhstan and
Central Asia, EY), Zhanna Baidasheva (KFICA Director), Huseyin Ozhan (Governing
Board Deputy Chairman, EBRD), Ferenczi Bela (Governing Board Treasurer, GE
Vernova CIS), Saule Zhakayeva (Board Member, Citibank Kazakhstan).
Representatives from the Association of
Investors of Kazakhstan included: Bolat Akchulakov (Chairman of the Board),
Rustam Zhursunov (Chairman of the Management Board), Batyr Makhambetazhiev,
Nurlan Mukaev, and Askar Kyzykhov (Deputy Chairmen of the Management Board),
and Oleg Savelenko (Legal Counsel).
The meeting focused on key areas of cooperation
between KFICA and AIK, further engagement, and the potential signing of a Agreement
of Understanding and a Draft Roadmap for 2026.
Both parties expressed their interest in
strengthening partnership relations and advancing joint initiatives aimed at
improving the investment climate and fostering regional collaboration.
