During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues related to the preparation for the 38th Plenary Session of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC), which will be held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by the IT company EPAM Kazakhstan. Representatives of the company presented the results of their work on data processing and storage systems for the Unified Subsoil Use Platform (USP). To date, more than 1 terabyte of geological information has been processed, and a prototype solution based on artificial intelligence has been launched, designed to enable advanced data analytics and improve the accuracy of forecasting prospective subsoil use areas.
The Minister of Industry and Construction particularly highlighted the significant export potential of the project being implemented.
Special attention was given to shaping the agenda of the upcoming plenary session, as well as to strengthening cooperation between government authorities and representatives of foreign businesses in order to further enhance the country’s investment climate.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the importance of maintaining a constructive dialogue between the Government and foreign investors to support the sustainable development of the industrial and construction sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
