On 29 September 2026, Astana hosted a meeting of the Public Council on Science, Higher Education and Language Policy under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, attended by Zhanna Baidasheva, Director of KFICA.

The meeting focused on the digital transformation of the National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise, AI talent development and academic integrity in the era of artificial intelligence, as well as licensing and state oversight of higher and postgraduate education institutions.
